Free Parking in Evanston!
The city of Evanston is offering FREE holiday parking in the city's three downtown self-park garages. Garages at Sherman Plaza, Maple Avenue and Church Street as well as Lot 60, located at 1234 Chicago Avenue, will observe free holiday parking for the month of December, starting Novemeber 24, 2011 through January 2, 2012. Hours of free parking are weekdays after 5 p.m. to midnight and all day on Saturdays.
The free holiday parking is to encourage people to patronize the downtown and Dempster/Chicago business areas and utilize the convenient parking in the garages for shopping, dining and entertainment during the holiday season. Remember, Sundays are always free in the parking garages.
